Farm Foundation

After celebrating its 75th anniversary, this non-profit organization was ready for a fresh identity. We chose to creatively use typography in reversing a seed shape by utilizing space inside the double f's. The logo was derived from the words "catalyst" and "shaping the future for agriculture" which reflect their mission statement. The graphic element itself is uniquely positioned to assist in audience brand recognition.

Jackdaddy

Vitek Design was selected to provide creative expertise for a new concept lifestyle brand, Jackdaddy. The company provides dating advice for men with creating brand extension into apparel. Initial sketches were explored that ranged from classic to modern. An identity emerged with a crown to symbolize man and a diamond to represent the multi-faceted woman. Some even see a silhouette of a female... we'll let you decide. This was a very exclusive opportunity for us that differed from our corporate and nonprofit work. It allowed for some fluid creative freedom.

BASH party planning & serving

BASH was looking for a whimsical, unique style. The icon in the "A" is recognizable as a bursting bottle of wine or a flowering vase - both appropriate for a true BASH! The artsy, hand-drawn font in the second thumbnail was selected for use in business cards and various marketing materials. Their website is currently in the production phase.

The Village of Bartlett

Vitek Design has collaborated with the Village of Bartlett on various print and web related projects. We were asked to revise the current branding artwork and incorporate Bartlett's Immanuel United Church of Christ instead of an existing clock tower silhouette. The church's 609 lb. brass bell in its steeple has rung everyday since 1893 and serves as a village icon. We are proud to have worked on such a visible part of the community and look forward to increasing recognition of the logo for years to come.

C.H. Robinson Kensington Farms

This logo was created for C.H. Robinson Worldwide to provide a fresh, crisp look for their new Keningston Farms private label brand. The logo is utilized across all fresh market products with various packaging applications. In the design stage, color selection was critical due to the limitations of flexography printing on clear produce bags.

Illinois Saint Andrew Society

The oldest charity in Illinois retained Vitek Design to reinvent the branded images for the organization and its various programs. While keeping the heritage of the shield in the main logo, we then introduced a font inspired by the famous Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh. For the Scottish Business Forum, a modern twist on the thistle, the symbol of nobility, was selected. Mackintosh was also known for his iconic rose paintings that were inspired by the love he had for his wife. This was the perfect identification component for the Scottish Home which is a private community that provides assisted living and nursing care. We took the symbol to another level by adding a person embracing a heart and then utilized petals to invoke a sense of security.

American Agricultural Editors' Association Ag Media Summit

The AAEA held a contest for its 10th annual Ag Media Summit's logo development. Vitek Design's entry was chosen. The logo was then carried across all conference collateral including program materials, badges, and media relations.

Grace Episcopal Church

Founded in 1875 in downtown Hinsdale, IL this church is easily recognizable by many for its striking architectural presence. The church was looking to rebrand its image to both sustain the interest of its current members and appeal to the general community. To accomplish those goals, we selected the building's iconic exterior by utilizing an actual photo as the symbol for the logo. The illustrative style of the logo is simple, yet very effective.

Secure Planning

Secure Planning Inc., a New Hampshire based financial services firm, called upon us for development of a new look. They were interested in a modern approach that strayed away from the traditional conservative financial institutional image. By utilizing metallic gold, the professional and contemporary impression was created and differed greatly from their existing monotone materials.

Event Security Solutions

We selected a simple padlock within the letterforms to represent this firm's identity. The logo is easily transferrable from print to the embroidery on staff polos and other items.

JNS Glass & Coatings

Vitek Design needed to conduct research on the glass and coatings industry in order to fully understand JNS' products and business.  After viewing several UV measurement charts, we decided to incorporate the element of a 'transmittance curve' into the JNS logo. The "N" brings the J and S together with a unique style and reflection underneath. We are currently developing their website.

The Human Race Sports

Our initial meeting was at a kitchen table during the start-up phase of the Human Race Sports company. Since then, they have opened several store locations, organized numerous races, and even spun off a nonprofit organization that supports their community. The brand image created has been integrated across apparel, vehicle graphics, and race marketing.

OpenView Consulting

This start up firm wanted a crisp and open look to their identity. The window frame icon was selected to reflect the company's name. We adjusted the graphic to look like a star. Custom icons were used to represent the four main components of their company.

Healthcare Industry Logos

These Chicago-based companies were looking for non-traditional identities for their healthcare related companies. Specific color schemes were utilized by each to reinforce meaning and increase visual recognition.

Teen Parent Connection

We completed the creation of identity and marketing collateral for a local nonprofit organization, Greater DuPage MYM. After twenty years of teenage parenting and prevention education services, Greater DuPage MYM's board, staff and community leaders were ready for a new brand development and marketing strategy. Vitek Design was retained for nine months to lead the design and direction of a complete rebranding effort. We redesigned their entire marketing campaign that included a logo to represent the name change, print materials, and web development.

Probono Logos

Vitek Design occasionally donates its time and expertise to support various local organizations. We understand that not every budget allows for a professionally executed logo. However, we do our best to serve our community and provide these services inkind when possible.

360 Properties (Black Design)

This developer was seeking an identity unlike many of the other builders in their area. We utilized negative space inside the 0 to illustrate a welcome door effect. The rich color palette provided the foundation for modern looking business cards, letterhead and envelopes.

H.O.T. SIDE CrossFit

A group of dedicated workout junkies created their own CrossFit affiliate out of a home gym. The acronym is formed from the townships in the area (Homer Glen, Orland Park and Tinley Park). They continually update their blog with recent workouts and other information about their gym. Both logo designs incorporate an image of a kettlebell, which is a unique cast iron weight made popular by the CrossFit workouts.
